Palm Beach County History Online

We celebrate the launch of Palm Beach County History On-Line as part of our mission to make history accessible, interesting and meaningful. Our site was created to help broaden the audience and widen the reach for local history access visiting the Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum.

The site is destined to become a one-stop shop for all your county history questions. Over the next few months we will continue to develop and add additional sections to the site, expanding lesson plans and reference materials.

The Historical Society of Palm Beach County wishes to thank the Marshall E. Rinker Sr. Foundation, Inc. and the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties for their foresight in funding the development of this site. Other contributors to the site include content research by Lise Steinhauer, site graphic design by Black Design and images provided by the archives of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County, Loxahatchee River Historical Society and the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum. Technical development of the website provided by Fusedog Media Group.
